The pool is a non-uniform shape and has been carefully built leaving the surrounding lava rock untouched. It measures approx. 11 meters by 8 meters, almost half having a depth of approx 3 meters with diving board. It is heated by 20 solar panels which are controlled by a sun/cloud sensor and temperature control. The shallow end begins with a very gentle slope into the water for a distance of 3 meters and then dropping to a depth of half a meter. Beside the sloping area there are curved stairs leading into a depth of 1.5 meters.
SUNKEN POOL BAR:
